Jørgensen and Nanna Starck Text from the press release: Something on Nanna Starck’s night vision by Uffe Holm By nighttime, perhaps just before the sun peeks out, it’s not uncommon, with age, that you would wake up and feel the need to take a pee. You shake off the dream, or bring it to the bathroom, and out there, in the hallway, the close corridor with the full body mirror at the end, you see your own silhouette in the edgy surroundings of the familiar, and the light is weakly toned by the incipient dawn. In this moment, the bony un-realisms from the dream become as one with the alien reality. The utopian constructions lean like tired Babel towers against the incarnate, architectonic NOW, with a truism. With one foot on the bathmat and the other on the cold tile floor, we glance cockeyed in the mirror, and see ourselves as floating face planes.
